About

Our free galleries are situated five minutes walk from each other on either side of the Serpentine Bridge in the Royal Park of Kensington Gardens. Serpentine presents a year-round, free programme of exhibitions, architecture, education, live events and technological innovation, in the park and beyond.

Serpentine South Gallery (W2 3XA)
The Serpentine South showcases emerging and established contemporary art, including the annual Pavilion architecture commission in the park.

Serpentine North Gallery (W2 2AR)
The Serpentine North Gallery opened in 2013, with Zaha Hadid’s renowned ‘Magazine’ extension on the original Grade II listed former gunpowder store.

This gallery is a beautiful space dedicated to contemporary art. It also includes the Serpentine Shop.
