Overview
The inaugural exhibition at the Serpentine Sackler Gallery presents a site-specific installation by Adrián Villar Rojas, an artist from Argentina who has recently become well known internationally for his large-scale sculptural works, predominantly in clay. Through this medium, Villar Rojas creates an apparently fossilised world of ruins and ancient monuments, playing with our notions of time, history, modernity and the future.
