About

Art First represents emerging and established artists whose work has entered museum and public collections in the UK, the USA, South Africa and Europe.

Over 30 years the gallery has presented a dynamic exhibitions programme, participated in art fairs in the UK, the USA, Europe and South Africa, and has initiated important publications - monographs and catalogues with commissioned essays.

Art First continues to do this from a new base at The Forge, St Mary's Walk in Lambeth, after a prolonged period of working from Mayfair and Fitzrovia. An extensive website contains archival as well as latest information, with online catalogues for many of the represented artists.
