Overview
uring the summer of 2012 renowned portrait painter Teresa Witz is exhibiting life-size portraits of some of Great Britain’s most inspiring and determined sporting champions, displayed for the first time at Canary Wharf throughout Jubilee Park and in Canada Walk Window Gallery. As the Olympics and Paralympics arrive in East London, Canary Wharf celebrates with this specially commissioned outdoor installation of nine of Teresa’s life-size portraits of athletes, who include Vanessa Raw, David Weir, Perri Shakes-Drayton and Jeanette Kwakye. Supporting the outdoor exhibition, head and shoulder portraits of more sporting champions are displayed in the Canada Place Mall’s Window Gallery.
