Overview

Back for the fifth year, Winter Lights will transform the dark evenings at Canary Wharf into a spectacle of light, colour and movement. Twenty installations materialise in Canary Wharf as artists from around the world, working on the cutting edge of light art and technology, share their creativity and ingenuity. From large interactive installations to stunning light projections, the range is breath taking. This year sustainability, recycling and the environment is a theme running through the works. Many of the pieces have been created by reusing materials and others send out a strong message about waste and climate change.
