Gerry Buxton, Echoes of the Infinite

26 Apr-11 May 2025
PV 25 Apr 2025, 6-9pm

Thames-Side Studios Gallery
Royal Borough of Greenwich, London SE18 5NR

Overview

Echoes of the Infinite explores the deep connections between natural patterns and human-made systems, from the microscopic to the cosmic. Through the mechanical repetition of construction cranes, the works reveal the intricate geometries and rhythms that echo across all scales of existence — where the same mathematical sequences and shapes can be found in the growth of plants, the structure of galaxies, and the building of our urban landscapes. The exhibition will also feature a selection of works spanning Gerry Buxton’s career. From graphics to fashion, the show will include screen prints on paper, textiles, canvas, wallpaper, wood, glass, metal and even the iPhone.
