Tokyo-based electronic sound composer Ken Ikeda visits London for a live, improvised performance with artist Shino Yanai.
The performance takes place in the context of Shino Yanai's new exhibition for Beaconsfield, where the arist explores the plasticity of sound and its power to create fresh or imagined memories. Ikeda contributes sonic material to the installation in a long-distance collaboration with Yanai, before his live performance in London.
Ken and Shino will lead a workshop for sound enthusiasts a few days before this performance. Limited capacity.
This project has been made possible through the kind support of the Great Britain Sasakawa Foundation and Japan Foundation London.
