Curated by Xenia Langlois. The theme of the exhibition comes from the artists’ combined interest in portraying the effects of social and cultural identification through analogy and absurdity. Both artists are graduates from the Slade School of Fine Art and have exhibited widely. Rory Biddulph was recently shortlisted for the Adrian Carruthers Award and the Clifford Chance Printmaking Purchase Prize, he was also included in the XL Catlin Art Guide and is a current finalist in the XL Catlin Art Prize. Kate Hubbell has attended numerous residencies including being resident artist at the Atlantic Center for the Arts and the Oxbow School of Art and Artist Residencies she was also recently shortlisted for the Red Mansion Art Prize and the Sarabande Scholarship.
