Overview

Join artist Nora Turato and exhibition curator Andrea Nitsche-Krupp for an in-depth conversation about Turato’s practice and her newest work, pool7 – the artist’s first solo exhibition in the UK.

Turato’s work across performance, graphic design, installation, video and texts confronts our shared contemporary condition as it manifests in language and within our bodies, with vulnerability, humour and devastating common sense.
 
Following her presentation of two new performances at the ICA, and on the occasion of the final weekend of her solo exhibition, Turato joins Nitsche-Krupp to discuss the conception and development of the installation, video, audio work and performance that comprises pool7. The conversation will also explore how this new body of work is situated within Turato’s oeuvre and contemporary art and culture more broadly, with an opportunity for questions from our audience.
