Overview

Many of the artists featured in this exhibition were friends and peers in the 1960s who began to use pre-existing commercial techniques in a completely radical way; they used unconventional materials such as film acetate, PCV and plexiglass, as well as incorporating collage, 3D objects and foil into their prints.
The title of this exhibition honours this experimental and collaborative period which went on to define Pop art in the twentieth century.
