Overview

A solo exhibition of new hand-coloured prints and paintings, featuring appropriated images of existing historical paintings of Alpine landscapes. Through the process of printing the works are gradually divorced from their subject matter, leaving the viewer to imbue the compositions with their own interpretation. Interested by the aesthetics of the sublime, Winstanley explores how pictures can mythologise reality.There will be a drinks reception.
