Cultural historian Juliet Steyn responds to themes in The Missing O and E, followed by a conversation with Joshua Leon.
Juliet Steyn is a cultural historian interested in the workings of cultural institutions in the formation of the subject and identity. She is currently working on a monograph on Jewish immigrants to Tredegar, South Wales circa 1870 which can be construed as a lamentation and celebration of the daily lives of Jews and an attempt to rescue them from oblivion.
