Overview
For the 2024 edition of Condo London, Phillida Reid presents Labour of Love, a solo exhibition by Claudia Kogachi (b.1995 Awaji-shima, Japan, lives and works in Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland, Aotearoa NZ). Galeria Jaqueline Martins, São Paulo / Brussels, present a solo exhibition by Lia D Castro (b.1978 Martinópolis, São Paulo). Kogachi and Castro, from their own distinctive painterly languages and contexts, create work which explores self-portraiture and modes of figuration in relation to sexuality and labour.
