Sunil Gupta’s work Untitled #2 from the series The New Pre-Raphaelites is on display as part of our current exhibition The Rossettis. Inspired by the work of the pre-Raphaelites at a previous Tate exhibition, Gupta's interpretation speaks to his contemporary experience in Indian society during a moment of cultural shifts.
This conversation will seek to further explore the artists relationship to the Rossettis, the influence of historic art on his practice and his current work.
