Overview
In 2021, twenty talented visual artists were selected for a SPACE Artist Award to develop their practice and invest in their future. Artists received £5,000, mentoring, studio space opportunities, and an invitation to contribute to SPACE’s programmes.
The artworks on show explore ideas of resilience and joy, collectiveness and memory, sustainability and identity, offering a snapshot of the evolution of an artist’s practice during an especially challenging year.
