Overview
Muniments is the first UK solo show of the work of Afshin Dehkordi. Focusing on the contradictory and tangled relationships between Iran and the West. The works Notes from an unknown Iranian journalist, Salted Scenes I–VI, Taxonomy of time and Black Lake White Mountain display the underlying drama and construction of the ‘story’ inherent within the language of journalism and the relationship between migration, architecture and borders & the dichotomy of documentary and fiction.
