Overview
This show focuses on works from the last 40 years by Italian artist Claudio Parmiggiani (b. 1943). Alongside historic sculptures that reflect his interest in the Greco-Roman canon and his use of everyday objects, it presents his Delocazioni (‘Displacements’), created using smoke and soot. These explore themes of presence and absence, employing the artist's now signature technique which he developed during the 1970s.
