Overview
Group exhibition investigating the use of text in contemporary art, specifically exploring the transcription of text from low, common, everyday or alternative sources including film, signage, posters, advertising, notebooks, graffiti, tattoo and schizophrenic acoustic hallucinations. The exhibition will seek to engage with authorship, incoherence, disruption of language, obsession, fragmentation, non-hierarchical sourcing, and ambiguity of meaning.
