A Foundation has invited Brian Griffiths to realise The Furnace commission in Autumn 2007. In The Only Living (Or Your Lonely Saucer Eyes) Griffiths draws upon devices and showmanship of sideshows and circuses, creating new sculptural works in his most ambitious work to date.
