Recent paintings and collaborations by London based artists Robert Hawkins (New York) and Liam Ryan (Dublin). Robert, like a magician, can make a serious train crash look like fun. He has a macabre sense of humour and a good knowledge of History of Art and Popular Culture, which reflects in his work. His work features in major international collections. Liam employs a degree of automatism and disorder of pictorial language. He also flirts with Popular Culture, disruptively. Liam received the Royal Dublin Society Taylor Prize and earned an MA (St. Martin’s Byam Shaw) with a scholarship from Lismore Castle Arts.
