Overview

In collaboration with Videobrasil, Delfina Foundation presents a selection of works organised by João Laia, member of the curatorial team of the forthcoming 19th edition of the Contemporary Art Festival Sesc_Videobrasil. The display exhibits works which deal with identity politics in relation to topics such as gender, sexuality and desire, engaging with the overarching theme that drives Delfina’s autumn public programme - Autonomy. The pieces were selected out of PLATFORM:VB, a new research tool created by Videobrasil that aims to provide in-depth contextualisation to the works exhibited during the festival. The display will also include research materials that spacialize and illustrate the research process used to select what is shown at Delfina Foundation and that also echo the general functioning of PLATFORM:VB.
