Kate MacGarry is pleased to announce Goshka Macuga's second solo exhibition in the gallery. The exhibition will include works commissioned by Zachęta National Gallery in Warsaw for Macuga's first solo exhibition in a public space in Poland in December 2011. The exhibition 'Untitled' looked at censorship in Polish Art after 1989, and included a series of large photographs that documented attacks on artists, curators and critics and institutions. Part of the material was from the archive of the museum and the photographic documentation of its exhibitions. The photographic works will be exhibited with an installation of new furniture works. More information will be available soon. Born in 1967 in Poland, Macuga lives and works in London. Her work is currently showing in Documenta 13, in Kassel and Kabul until 16 September. In December 2012 she will have a solo exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago.
