Overview
'Vorkurs' is the name of the preliminary course undertaken by every student at the Bauhaus in the 1920s. Adam Burton, Paul Bailey, Edward Cotterill, Ruth Ewan, Georgie Manly, Anna Chrystal Stephens, Adam J B Walker and Carla Wright present work and workshops that revisit its methods and educational philosophies. The exhibition will host a Library of supplementary reading and media. There will be a Vorkurs publication and a film screening. Space will be made to critique accepted learning ideologies and locate some opportunities for development.
