Tate Britain
London SW1P 4RG
Admission Free. Born in British Guyana, Bowling has long been an active member of both the London and New York abstract painting scenes. His career connects the generation of British pop artists associated with the Royal College of Art and the American formalism of critic Clement Greenberg. This display focuses on the series of poured paintings that Bowling began in Brooklyn in the early 1970s.
