Here Comes a New Challenger is a project exhibition featuring video interviews, photographs and archival documentation relating to the 2D arcade game Street Fighter 2. As part of an ongoing research project by the artists David Blandy and James A. Holland, this collaboration with curator Morgan Quaintance focuses on the cultural impact, social networks and practices that the game produced in London during the 1990s and early 2000s.
