Opening performance: Thursday 23 April, 7pm Public discussion: Saturday 25 April, 3pm The first solo exhibition in a UK public institution by the Istanbul, Amsterdam and Berlin based Kurdish artist acts as a form of retrospective, told through the memories of people, of various professions and nationalities, with whom Öğüt has collaborated over the last decade. The collaborators are invited to London to participate in a public debate at Chisenhale Gallery and to collectively generate a new idea for an artwork. Commissioned as part of How to work together, this new work explores the agency of those who participate in a work’s production and the nature of collaboration itself.
