May 14 - Jun 26, 2021 FINAL WEEK

Timothy Taylor is delighted to announce the upcoming opening of Piecemeal Rhythm at 15 Bolton Street, London, featuring new paintings by Los Angeles-based artist Hilary Pecis (b. 1979, Fullerton, CA). Piecemeal Rhythm is Pecis's first solo exhibition in the UK as well as her first solo exhibition with the gallery.
Pecis renders symbols, objects and details with playful precision in a series of interior scenes, landscapes and city portraits. Drawing from a history of decorative art from Matisse to Vuillard, her vibrant, richly patterned paintings revel in surprising asymmetries.
'There's a rhythm within my paintings: each work has a certain wonky quality, a fluidity that I try to keep throughout the process,' Pecis explains. 'There's much more magic in not knowing how it will all end up.'

IRL IN REAL LIFE
Jul 8 - Aug 21, 2021
We're delighted to announce our summer group exhibition, IRL (In Real Life). Conceived in a year in which cyberspace came to dominate the ways we work, socialise and connect with the world, IRL explores how this context has altered notions of the sensory experience - togetherness, sensuality and physicality - for contemporary artists today.

Ranging from textile works and photography to richly surfaced paintings, prints and sculpture, IRL features work by Kesewa Aboah, Rebecca Ackroyd, Alma Berrow, Lily Bertrand-Webb, Will Brickel, Sahara Longe, Lydia Pettit, Jiab Prachakul, Alexis Ralaivao, Erin M. Riley, Antonia Showering and Honor Titus.
