Sarah Wilson is Professor of the History of Modern and Contemporary art at The Courtauld, University of London. Publications include The Visual World of French Theory: Figurations (2010) and Picasso / Marx and socialist realism in France (2013). She curated Paris, Capital of the Arts, 1900-1968 (London, Bilbao, 2002) and Pierre Klossowski (London, 2006, also Cologne and Paris), and co-curated the Fifth Guangzhou Triennale (China, 2015). She has specialised in postwar European art including Poland, and publishes upon Polish women artists including Alina Szapocznikow and Zofia Kulik. Appointed Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres in 1997, she received the AICA International award for distinguished contributions to art criticism in 2015.

Filip Pagowski graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw where he studied painting, illustration and poster design. Growing up in an artistic family, art has always been close to Pagowski's heart. In the 1980s and 90s Pagowski's illustrations appeared as book covers and in top newspapers and magazines including The New York Times, National Post, Flaunt, and Random House. In 1992 Pagowski started a long lasting collaboration with The New Yorker doing illustration work, lettering and logotypes. Around the same time he produced ads for Barneys New York department store and worked for French clients, editorial and advertising, among them Le Monde daily paper. One of the most significant collaborations in Pagowski’s career is his work with the Japanese fashion house Comme des Garçons and its founder, Rei Kawakubo. In 2002 Pagowski created the now famous logo for Comme Des Garcons' PLAY line: the red heart with black eyes became a cult trademark of the brand. Every season since 2011, Pagowski has been tasked with creating print designs for Comme des Garçons’ BLACK clothing and accessories line. In 2016 Pagowski created the artwork to accompany Drake's single “Summer Sixteen” from the album, "Views". Other clients include: IKEA, District Vision, Moncler, GU (a division of UNIQLO), Nike and Samsonite.
