Overview
In this exhibition, Ai Weiwei extends his use of Lego with new techniques and works that critique our present moment while questioning the legitimacy of the art of the past. These include the monumental Wheatfield with Crows (2024), inspired by Van Gogh’s 1890 oil of the same name, where the birds are replaced by menacing drones.
