Overview

LR Vandy will discuss her inspiration and ideas with October Gallery’s Artistic Director, Elisabeth Lalouschek. Vandy’s recent work was highly influenced by her relocation to a site adjacent to the Ropery at Chatham Historic Dock Yard – an establishment which has preserved traditional rope-making since the 19th century. The exchange will investigate the artist’s use of this versatile material as well as re-visit her series of Hull works.
