Overview

Join us for a talk by New Zealand-based art historian, Elizabeth Eastmond on Alexis Hunter, within the framework of the exhibition 10 Seconds at the London gallery.

Eastmond's presentation will delineate the importance of Hunter's background in 1960s New Zealand, her early feminist and artistic influences, the iconic 70s photographic narrative sequences showcased in the exhibition, and subsequent critical contemporary readings of her work through an intersectional lens.
