An opportunity to join the first UK screening of Albert Oehlen’s 2023 feature film van G and preview the artist’s exhibition of new paintings at Gagosian Grosvenor Hill. The screening at Curzon Mayfair will be followed by a Q&A with Albert Oehlen.
A romantic film, van G depicts the relationship between Vincent van Gogh, played by Ben Becker, and his models, whom he struggled to recruit and pay. The film also provides insight into the artist’s painting techniques, clearing up some common misunderstandings.
