Overview
Into The Woods will showcase Ellie Davies' recent project, "Chalk Streams" alongside her entire body of work.
Ellie's new project "Chalk Streams", explores her ongoing relationship to the natural environment through the unique ecosystem that is the chalk stream, and spotlights the devastating impacts that man-made dramas are inflicting upon it.
With 85% of the world's chalk streams located in the UK, Ellie's project represents a personally relevant investigation into the complex relationship between man and land. For over 10 years, her projects have focussed on the geography of her childhood landscape, in the New Forest, and she continues to explore this relationship to this day.
The exhibition will take place at our sister gallery, Crane Kalman, on 178 Brompton Road, SW3 1HQ, and runs from July 27th - August 18th. Gallery opening hours are 10-6pm, Monday - Friday.
