This summer, Saatchi Yates will be hosting a major exhibition entitled Bathers. This will include paintings by Post-War & historical Masters, as well as Contemporary works, depicting scenes of Bathers. The exhibition will be accompanied by an extensive publication, with essays contributed by Martin Gayford & Hannah Rothschild, Bathers will be one of London’s major summer highlights for visiting members of the public and the British art scene and will be accompanied by a series of events and educational activities for the local community and schools. We are in the process of confirming a number of masterpieces by artists who have depicted the Bather throughout the centuries. We will be including works by Damien Hirst, David Hockney, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Lynette Yiadom-Boakye, Henry Taylor, Pablo Picasso, Peter Doig, Auguste Rodin, Alex Katz, Eric Fischl, amongst many others. These will sit next to six commissioned works by contemporary art stars.
