Pi Artworks London is excited to present a new solo exhibition by Aviv Benn, curated by Tamara Admoni
Benn's newest body of works creates a dreamlike, outlandish natural world filled with grotesque creatures. The exhibitions invites viewers to enter this mystical realm, with each painting functioning as a window, revealing a new facet of Benn's universe.
The artist creates paintings that are illusory and delusive, their imagery echoing a familiar yet alienating feeling. The bright and colourful brushstrokes appear joyous at first glance, but on closer inspection, their resonance is alarming and unnatural. Like carniverous plants they lure the viewer in, barely contained themselves by the canvas.
