Artist and illustrator John Booth and ceramic artist Ian McIntrye present a playful installation showcasing a new collection of unique works and special editions.
Supergroup was born out of Booth and McIntyre’s shared studio space in East London. The artists share an appreciation for accessible design, exploring traditional craft practices alongside exuberant decoration.
For House of Voltaire presents Supergroup, the artists have created a new limited edition collection of colourful ceramics alongside embroidered patches, giant wall stickers, a t-shirt and whimsical wallpaper.

Ian McIntyre: Born in Leeds, England 1984, McIntyre studied MA Ceramics and Glass, at Royal College of Art. He is founding member of Studio Manifold, East London. Associate lecturer at Kingston University and Central Saint Martins, he currently holds a Collaborative Doctoral Award with Manchester School of Art, York Art Gallery and The British Ceramics Biennial. His works held in the permanent collections of York Art Gallery, England, Manchester Art Gallery, England and La Triennale di Milano, Italy.
John Booth: Born in Scotland in 1984 and raised in Cumbria, Booth moved to London in 2004, where he graduated with a BA in fashion print design at Central Saint Martins in 2009. He has since taught as a lecturer both at Central Saint Martins and the University of Westminster. Booth has worked for several fashion brands including Paul Smith, Zandra Rhodes, John Galliano, Ashish, Christopher Shannon and most recently, Globetrotter, FENDI and Paul Smith
