Lounge: Blaise Thompson Maroc Memories
1 Dec 2018-13 Jan 2019
Thames-Side Studios Gallery
Royal Borough of Greenwich, London SE18 5NR

An exhibition of new paintings and prints following Blaise Thompson's first trip to Morocco in 2018. Morocco is like a tree whose roots lie in Africa but whose leaves breathe in European air - King Hassan II. Blaise Thompson is a painter and printmaker whose bold, graphic paintings incorporate collage, heavy texture and bespoke stencils. Previously a lecturer and illustrator, Blaise studied fine art at Sheffield Polytechnic and illustration at the Royal College of Art.
