The first exhibition organised by Nahmad Projects, a newly established contemporary art space. Conceived by Francesco Bonami, 30 original performances over 30 days will pay homage to the practice of German artist Tino Sehgal, although Sehgal himself is not involved in any aspect of the show. Through his constructed situations, Sehgal has dematerialised art, undermining the very assumptions of what art is. In a world dominated by an endless distribution of images and information, can art refuse this destiny? Can art merely exist in the eye of the beholder, and in his memory?
