Overview

In the second part of our launch we introduce three more Lacey Contemporary represented painters. British painters Angela Smith, Katrine Roberts and Louis Savage are painting the impossible. Hyper colour-forms and pulsing rhythms produce a visual register to the surface but, marks are gestural and obscure; distorted figures, hybrid creatures and layers of fragmented information appear in a dreamlike state across the canvas.
