Overview

Pixel Perpetual is a new site specific installation from artist Larry Achiampong presented by StudioRCA, Riverlight. Continuing from the ‘First Phase’ of ‘Relic Traveller’ (2017), Achiampong's afro-futurist multi-site project comprised of performance, audio, moving image and prose used themes of lost testimony, fallen empire and displacement to deconstruct the architectures of colonialism. This installation marks the beginning of ‘Phase 2’ by introducing a new flag, text and audio-visual performance components.
