Overview

Claire will create an installation in the gallery space in which ‘rituals’ and conversations can take place, including a short film which takes the Summerian myth ‘The Descent of Inanna to the Underworld’ as structure for a discussion of contemporary gender politics. This new body of work looks at the significance of the female body in male to female drag in relation to female identity and reproductive labour.
