Focus on Original Prints

Overview

For April, alongisde Piers Ottey's new Mountain paintings, we focus on contemporary original printmaking with work by Kate Boxer, Tom Hammick and others. Works by established artists will also be represented: Jim Dine, Patrick Caulfield, Tracey Emin and the Chapman Brothers. An "original print" is one where a new unique image is produced in a multiple (usually less than 100). It is not a photographic reproduction of a painting. Printmaking methods include dry point, etching, lithograph, woodcut and screenprint.
