Overview

'Counter Acts' marks the 35th year of the Turner Prize, bringing together previous winners and nominees who studied or taught at University of the Arts London’s constituent colleges, as well as emerging artists. The exhibition will explore the function of art practice as a counter-action to dominant social, political and aesthetic structures. With work spanning four decades, the exhibition seeks to reveal how artists use a variety of methods and approaches to disrupt historical narratives.
