Overview

In DREAMLAND artist Zoe Beloff takes Freud’s interest in these sites of fantasy as a starting point to display the history of the Coney Island Psychoanalytic Society, a small group of Freud followers – now considered an urban legend. On 2 November the Grundy Art Gallery will host a day-long symposium – the first undertaking of this kind held at the gallery – of discussions and events on the subject of ‘Freud in Blackpool’.
