Overview

This Kolossal Kat, that Massive MOG is a new exhibition of work by Mark Leckey for Grundy Art Gallery. The exhibition will present 'FEELINTHECAT', undertaken as one of eight major new artist commissions marking the Arts Council Collection's 70th anniversary, and will bring together works that involve the artist's long-standing interest in Felix the Cat, the first known broadcast image. Visitors will also be able to see his seminal work 'Fiorucci Made Me Hardcore' (1999), which has been described as 'perhaps the finest portrayal of British nightlife ever captured', and is screening alongside the main exhibition.
