Overview
First showcased at The Nasher Sculpture Centre, Dallas, USA, in May 2016, this exhibition will feature a single installation made of five vibrant, irregular, multifaceted sculptures placed on the floor or hovering at various heights and orientations in the main gallery space. Joel Shapiro (b. 1941, New York) is an artist of international prominence. He has executed more than thirty commissions and publicly sited sculptures in major Asian, European and North American cities and has been the subject of more than 160 solo exhibitions and retrospectives internationally, including: Whitney Biennale, Documenta and the Venice Biennale.
