Overview

First solo exhibition at the gallery for Angolan artist Délio Jasse. Known for his experimental photographic work, Jasse often interweaves found images with clues from past lives to draw links between photography and memory. 'The Lost Chapter: Nampula, 1963' continues his exploration of the photographic archive and raises questions around the role of the researcher in the archival process, working with photographs capturing the life of a Portuguese family living in Mozambique in the 1960s, acquired by Jasse at a Lisbon flea market.
