Curated by ARTNESIA, featuring new works alongside existing key works from Naples based artist Fermariello in his first UK solo exhibition. Working with paint, aluminium and steel, Fermariello’s wall based works hold 3D qualities and explore archetypal symbols from the past with a particular emphasis on mythology and antiquity. His work began with the symbol of a warrior and ever since these armed figures have been synthesised and repeated throughout his canvases with an obsessive rhythm for over 20 years. Fermariello has presented public installations across Italy and internationally at Pier Seventeen, New York; Naples Airport; Bocconi University, Milan and over the sea by Castel dell'Ovo on the gulf of Naples alongside various other locations.
