Eulalia Valldosera : Blood Ties

Overview

In her first UK show, Eulalia Valldosera's multi-layered, fluid installation consumes the gallery, staging human relationships as a choreography of light, shadow and everyday objects. Liquid containers become active subjects in her narratives, signifying states of interdependence and power such as family or love. Glasses, vessels and cleaning products become the protagonists, animated by by arrangements of rotary motors, mirrors and projectors. Stories and emotions are contained within these mis-en-scenes, awaiting the presence of an audience to bring a new layer of meaning.
