Overview

Works on display including those by Anthony Caro, Naum Gabo, Anthea Hamilton and Bridget Riley reveal the wide variety of materials that artists have used to express sculptural ideas. Selected from Wakefield’s art collection, the works explore abstraction and figuration and bring together materials as diverse as bronze, wax, perspex, paper and rice cakes.
